Lady Jemerson was introduced to Christ by her parents at the tender age of 5 years old. She grew up actively involved in children’s church, Sunday School, Young People Willing Workers, the sunshine band, singing in the choir, and attending vacation Bible school in the summers. She enjoyed preparing for and giving church speeches, and being in church plays and programs. She has always been on fire for Christ, even as a child she would come home from church preaching sermons to her stuffed animals and baby dolls.

Lady Jemerson’s relationship with Christ has been the center stone of her life, and has always guided her through any adversity or obstacle she has faced in life. Friends and family have always called upon her to pray with them, seek Godly counsel, and fellowship. She is a woman of strong faith and has always studied the Word of God daily. She has consistently stood on the firm belief of Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Lady Jemerson consistently engages in community service. During her college years she volunteered preparing taxes for low income individuals/families and small businesses; and was involved in outreach and community service initiatives hosted by her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. Throughout her adulthood she regularly serves marginalized populations by serving food to the unhoused in local food banks, passing out groceries in low income communities, assisting seniors, volunteering in the Church bookstore, cleaning parks and rebuilding public play structures, providing pro bono legal services, and a wealth of other community service activities. Lady Jemerson’s love for children has kept her involved in children’s ministries, mentoring at-risk youth, and volunteering in community centers.

Lady Jemerson is passionate about Christ and has a genuine love for people. She looks forward to supporting and serving alongside her beloved husband Pastor Jemerson and supporting the vision he has for Mt. Beulah.
